We just recently had our Poetry Slam where everyone from two of our three grade eight classes says two poems in front of everyone.
My opinion of poetry slam was that it was a lot of fun and we got to waste some class time, but I was really nervous getting up in front of everyone and saying my peoms. I thought most of the people did a really good job getting in front of everyone and saying their poems. Some were better than others, but they were all good.
My favorite part was the food and drink we had after, because it was really good. I also liked how we had songs for everyone to come in to the Poetry Slam to.
There wasn't a whole lot I didn't like about it, I just didn't like saying my poems in front of everyone.
Nice. I made a hobby of distracting certain teachers at my school, and making them waste their own time. Food is good, and i definitely don't like getting up in front of people to say poems. Know your pain, just did it, like a week ago. Thank goodness I was not picked to say my poem in front of my entire school.
